It was a pleasure to see some of our companies in our development track pitch their solutions to our partner hospitals. The aim was – as always – to test their innovative solutions at the hospitals.

In Nordic Health Lab our vision is to mobilize broad partnerships that future-proof Denmark’s entire healthcare system. That’s why we believe it’s important to bridge the companies’ solutions with the needs of our hospitals so they can work together to solve some of the big challenges in the healthcare sector.

At the pitch day in March, these companies presented their solutions to our partner hospitals:

Qumea
Digital mobility monitoring for patient safety. Care givers know automatically how their patients are doing and are informed in real time if they need help.

Vingmed
Electronic medicine cabinet for safety. Ensures automatic registration of medication administration and correct medicn based on current prescriptions.

ROPCA
Robot automation in rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis. Automates the process of ultrasound imaging and image assessment.

Intubio
Rapid growth-based microbial testing of sepsis to prevent probability of severe complications.

CON.DA Research
Monitoring of the indoor climate in operating rooms to reduce toxic gases from surgical smoke.

Next steps for the companies and hospitals
If the hospitals choose to test some of the solutions, Nordic Health Lab will facilitate the test run with a systematic framework for collaboration, testing and evaluations, that is adapted to the individual partnerships. The ultimate goal? To create real impact for both healthcare professionals and patients.
