We are thrilled to unveil the name of our new director. Please give a warm welcome to Sara Gry Striegler. She joins us from a role as Director for Social Transition at the Danish Design Center, and her focus at Nordic Health Lab will be to enhance the spread of innovative healthcare solutions for the benefit of the entire society.
Sara Gry Striegler will take the lead at Nordic Health Lab starting October 1st, and she will already be involved in strategic work from August. This includes aligning NHL’s goals and strategies with the relevance of the Health Structure Commission’s recommendations.
Her additional tasks as the CEO in NHL will include building on the current bridge-building setup, where NHL matches innovative healthcare solutions with the specific needs of hospitals and municipalities. The goal is to support the healthcare system by strengthening needs assessment and the spread of tests and solutions that can optimize resources, workflows, patient processes, prevention, etc.
At the same time, Sara Gry Striegler’s goal is to make NHL financially sustainable, contribute to more fruitful collaborations across sectors, and position and develop NHL to be more for more people – eg. by being represented in all the country’s regions.
Chairman of the Board at NHL, Jesper Lok, is very enthusiastic about having Sara Gry Striegler on the team: “Sara is well-equipped to lead the next phase of NHL and a good leader for the NHL team, which, in close collaboration with our partners, has secured a strengthened foundation for NHL. Therefore, we look forward to the collaboration and the results,” explains Jesper Lok.
Board member Henrik Schødts will lead NHL during the interim period.
