Winners of Nordic Health Lab Impact Awards

On January 17th 2024, we hosted our second Nordic Health Lab Impact Awards, where we handed out prizes to players who added extra value in the healthcare scene during 2023.

These were the categories:

Innovator Test Partner Of The Year
A test partner that has shown a high degree of openness and readiness to test the newest solutions while leading the wave of innovation together with Nordic Health Lab.

Fast Tracker Test Partner Of The Year 
A test partner that has shown great speed and efficiency in the execution of the chosen test run while bringing swift and valuable results together with Nordic Health Lab.

Problem Solver Test Partner Of The Year
A test partner that is continuously participating in developing concepts and procedures while tackling challenges and helping steer the ship of innovation through difficult times together with Nordic Health Lab.

Life Science Partner of the Year
A partner that continuously supports, enables and empowers collaborative partnerships in the pursuit of better healthcare.

Work Environment Impact
A solution that has great impact on working conditions of healthcare professionals.

Patient Impact
A solution that improves the patients’ experience or safety.

Social Impact
A solution that can improve the lives of a particular group with specific needs.

Global Impact
A solution that has potential of global scalability for a large target audience.

INNOVATOR TEST PARTNER OF THE YEAR
A partner that continuously supports, enables and empowers collaborative partnerships in the pursuit of better healthcare.

The winner is: ALLERØD KOMMUNE

Reason for winning:

Allerød Municipality has shown great commitment and interest in building a good collaboration about healthcare innovation while testing many companies’ solutions.

The winners are: BORNHOLMS REGIONSKOMMUNE & BORNHOLMS HOSPITAL

Reason for winning:

A shared award between Regional Municipality of Bornholm and Bornholms Hospital for quickly having initiated a cross-sectional collaboration. The increased knowledge sharing from this collaboration accelerates fast track testing for all parties.

PROBLEM SOLVER PARTNER OF THE YEAR

The winner is: REGIONSHOSPITALET GØDSTRUP

Reason for winning:

Regionshospitalet Gødstrup has shown great persistence in both complex and unconventional testing processes, including maintaining a good collaboration around test runs with challenging timelines.

Regionshospitalet Gødstrup won an Impact Awards for the second time.

The winner is: YUMAN

Reason for winning:

Yuman’s solution has the potential of freeing significant resources for healthcare professionals giving them more time for patient care without interfering with essential workflows

In 2023 we introduced the first Buddies in two Danish hospitals, and started to make a little impact. We have big plans for 2024, and we hope to bring more Buddies to hospital all over Denmark and help nurses as much as we can. ”

The winner is: NEOCARE NORDIC

Reason for winning:

NeoCare Nordic’s solution has the potential of improving intensive care of premature infants in the early stages of their lives while also supporting their parents and healthcare professionals in a safe
and innovative way.

NeoCare Nordic wins the Social Impact Award
“We are so proud of this exact prize “Social Impact” because it shows how important the work that we do, is. Getting neonatal children out of the incubator and into their parents’ arms is worth fighting for. And we are very happy about our collaboration with Nordic Health Lab - which has already led us to a collaboration with Texas Children’s Hospital.”

GLOBAL IMPACT
A solution that has potential of global scalability for a large target audience.

The winner is: NORDINSIGHT 

Reason for winning:

NordInsight’s solution has the potential of scaling and increasing patient safety for MRI-scans in the whole world while saving time for healthcare professionals.

 

NordInsight wins the Global Impact Awards. In the picture is Bente Ourø Rørth, Hospital Director at Nordsjællands Hospital, where NordInsight has tested their solution.
